AOPEN’s eTILE15M-FB and Digital Engine DE3450 have been certified by dimedis for a seamless fit with kompas® digital signage software.

Rosmalen, 31 August 2018 - AOPEN and dimedis announce the certification of their combined solutions. The compatibility between AOPEN hardware and kompas software has been tested extensively, with successes and certification as a result.

AOPEN eTILE and Digital Engines are known to be reliable hardware. Combine them with kompas software and the certificate ensures a reliable solution, where compatibility is maximised and the software is powered by the hardware by limited resources.

“AOPEN creates hardware for different solutions in different scenarios”, says Minouche Groen, Marketing Manager EMEA at AOPEN. “We specialise in hardware, but that doesn’t mean we don’t think about the complete solution. We are able to provide complete solutions for the end-user, but we can only do this in cooperation with our network of trusted partners, such as dimedis.” Groen states that the certification is a result of the AOPEN in-house knowledge and extensive network. “Together with our network, we are able to create the perfect solution for any scenario. From a simple display to the most complicated setup. Almost anything is possible.”

Tests show that AOPEN hardware is able to cope with heavy content, under extreme conditions. And that’s why we decided to certify this hardware for our digital signage software kompas.”

Certification

Both the eTILE 15M-FB and the Digital Engine DE3450 are certified by dimedis. Certification was granted after extensive testing which required excellent performance.

DE3450 – a cost-effective UHD (4k) media player with AiCU

The eTILE 15M is a fanless 15.6” all-in-one touch device. Developed with POS in mind, this multitouch system can be integrated in various retail settings. The eTILE is very reliable and quiet because it’s fanfree and it doesn’t have any moving parts.
