Repair Precautions

( 1 ) AOPEN only provides maintenance services and is not responsible for the rescue and storage of customer data. Customers should store backup data or take measures to protect data from damage before sending it for repair.

( 2 ) The customer understands and agrees that the information in the computer may be opened during the repair service, and the customer should have completed the removal of its confidential information or set protective measures before sending it for repair.

( 3 ) Customers should first remove non-AOPEN original accessories such as protective films. If the above non-AOPEN original accessories are not removed or cannot be removed, AOPEN is not responsible for storage and restoration.

( 4 ) The warranty period of paid replacement components is three months (Same part and location) ; The warranty period of free replacement components is the same as that of the repaired product.

( 5 ) The ownership of the original hard disk or other components, etc. replaced by maintenance services belongs to AOPEN.

( 6 ) Repair service does not include sending in parts for repair.

( 7 ) Unnatural damage and products without serial numbers are deemed to be out of the warranty period.

( 8 ) During the warranty period, the freight for returning the product to AOPEN shall be borne by the customer, and the freight for returning the product to the customer shall be borne by AOPEN (Not suitable for Smart Home GYM); The customer shall bear the shipping cost of the product outside the warranty period.

( 9 ) Repair products outside the warranty period shall bear the basic inspection fee; AOPEN reserves the right not to repair the products outside the warranty period.

(10) Items for paid maintenance will be shipped within 2-3 working days after payment is confirmed.

(11) For products whose service has been terminated, AOPEN can only repair it according to the existing inventory and does not guarantee that the repair can be completed.

(12) When a refund is requested, we will process it based on the total duration of the product warranty and the remaining warranty period. The refund amount will be calculated as a percentage of the remaining warranty value.
        EX: If you purchase a product with a 12-month warranty on January 1, 2024, and encounter an issue requiring a refund on July 1, 2024, you will receive a 50% refund.
        ※ The 12, 24, 36, 48, and 60 months mentioned in this announcement refer to the total warranty period.
