The MEP530 is a small, ruggedized media player that supports Android and Lubuntu OS. With a built-in WiFi and Bluetooth module, the system easily connects on a distance and offers possibilities in digital signage and kiosks. The fanless and ventless design ensure a dustproof system, which can be easily built in a kiosk. Due to the HDMI2.0 port, the MEP530 plays 4K (UHD) @60Hz to make the digital content pop out of the screen!

Fanless design without venting holes

This Media Engine is passively cooled. The cooling ribs on its exterior make sure the device won’t overheat. This means the device doesn’t have moving parts that enhance its reliability. Furthermore, the device is quiet and dustproof.

Handles shocks and vibrations with ease

This device handles shock and vibrations with ease because of its fanless design and solid-state disk (SSD). Because the device has no moving parts, shocks and vibrations are no issue. This means this device is perfect for, for example, moving vehicles: to show transportation information in busses, or to display signage on cruise ships.

UHD (4k) content playback

This media player is capable of driving UHD (4k) content. With a resolution that goes up to 3840 x 2160 pixels, your content will be close to perfect. This feature marks the players capable of delivering fluent and stutter-free content in UHD (4k).

Auto power and recovery

Automatically switch your device on by APAR. Configure your requirements for the unit after power is turned off. You can decide to automatically turn on a device when the power comes back on, or you can program the APAR to go back to the last known state before the power was turned off.
